Analysis of the tick for all viruses (tick-borne encephalitis, Alongshan virus)

The TBE and ALSV combined analysis includes three analyses – firstly, verification that the tick is indeed a tick (Ixodes ricinus) and secondly, analysis of the tick for the two viral pathogens TBE and ALSV. All analyses are carried out at RNA and DNA level using the real-time PCR method.

The analysis takes a maximum of three working days after arrival of the tick
