Screening for Bacterial Tick-borne Pathogens

With our rapid and highly sensitive molecular biological testing methods, the four bacterial pathogens Borrelia, Rickettsia, Anaplasma phagocytophilum, and Francisella tularensis can be detected or ruled out in the tick:

Real-time PCR analysis for Borrelia spp. (B. burgdorferi, B. afzelii, B. garinii, B. valaisiana), Francisella tularensis, Rickettsia spp. (R. helvetica, R. monacensis, R. slovaca, R. conorii), Anaplasma phagocytophilum.

The analysis is completed within a maximum of three working days after the tick arrives.
